An Exclusive 'Cook-and-Serve' Evening Hosted by the Headteacher
Are you ready to swap the restaurant reservation for a culinary adventure? This Burns Night, Cransley School invites you to toast the Bard in an intimate and memorable evening with a twist… where a traditional, gourmet Scottish meal will be prepared and served to you by your partner.
This isn't just dinner; it's a unique, hands-on experience culminating in a formal dinner hosted by the Headteacher, followed by drinks and maybe even some Scottish dancing!

Event Highlights & The Twist
The Challenge: Ten partners will be given the task of preparing, cooking, and plating a traditional Burns Night meal, under the guidance of our culinary expert and Food and Nutrition teacher, Mrs Sarah Sharpe.
The Dinner: Guests will enjoy the fruits of their partner’s labour during a formal, candlelit dinner in a traditional table setting, hosted by the Headteacher, including a traditional Address to the Haggis.
Post-Dinner Fun: Pre-meal drinks are included, and the evening will conclude with music and an opportunity for some social dancing.
The Gourmet Menu
A classic Burns Night menu with a refined touch)
Starter: Smoked Salmon Pâté with Oatcakes
Main Course: Haggis, Neeps, and Tatties
Dessert: Cranachan (A delicious blend of cream, raspberries, honey, and whisky)
Vegetarian and Vegan options will be available.

Time 7:30pm - Welcome Drinks & Introduction (6.30pm arrival for the Chefs)
Venue The Entrance Hall and Head’s Study, Belmont Hall.
Capacity strictly limited to 10 couples.
Booking & Charitable Donation
Cost per couple: £70.00
Includes: Ingredients, tuition, pre-meal welcome drink, and the hosted formal dinner experience.
Drinks Supplement (Optional): £20.00 per person
Includes: Wine/Whisky pairings with the meal and post-dinner drinks/refreshments.
Proceeds: All proceeds from this special evening will be proudly donated to The Cransley Foundation.
Note: Places will be allocated on a first come, first served basis. Early booking is essential to secure your spot in this exclusive event.
