Food is an wonderful part of school life for pupils, and at Cransley we ensure that every child is provided with balanced, plentiful and nourishing meals. Our Chef offers three nutritious hot courses, including vegetarian/vegan options, and salad, wraps, sandwiches and baked potatoes as an alternative to a hot meal. Senior School pupils also have mid-morning break from the dining hall at break time including toast, cereals and fruit. 

Lunch costs are between £215 (Reception pupils) and £315 (Senior pupils) per term.

Chef Ed Parry

Chef Parry is a brilliant catering manager with many years of experience from school dining-rooms and individual bespoke events, to conferences, banqueting and restaurants across Cheshire. Ed is passionate about using locally-sourced fresh products in kitchens of the highest quality and standard, and designing menus which a highly nutritious, visually appealing and deep down tasty!

Bidlea DAIRY

With Bidlea Dairy, you know exactly where the milk has come from: our local farm right here in the Cheshire countryside, just outside of Holmes Chapel. Our cows are raised here and milked here, and we process their milk here on-site too.
